Beyond the curriculum
Our rich and varied extra-curricular programme is a resounding strength of the school.
We place huge value on the impact extra-curricular activities can have in terms of developing our students both academically and pastorally. As a result, we wholeheartedly believe that student learning should not be limited to the classroom.
Over 50 clubs run each week, with diverse experiences on offer, as evidenced by our fully inclusive range of activities – there really is something for everyone!
Students can learn how to sign, attend Retro Gaming club, or the VEX Robotics club (which competes at a national level) or pursue the Duke of Edinburgh Award at KS4 and 5.
The extra-curricular programme changes each term, so that students can try different activities in Autumn, Spring and Summer!
Our sports clubs benefit from outstanding facilities including a swimming pool, gym, sports hall and extensive fields. Again, the wide range of activities on offer is second to none and includes rugby, football, netball, tennis, swimming, trampolining, hockey and rounders.
